Older property that offers a Continental breakfast. The staff was friendly and the beds were comfortable. The restaurant next door was closed due to unforeseen reasons. The only other option for food was 20 miles away except for the small grocery store across the street. I would stay here again, but would be prepared for meal options.
The restaurant was open the day we left. We had breakfast there and the good was great!

The room was large and comfortable.
Bed was comfortable, bathroom was dated. Free breakfast was a bowl of dry cereal and a small muffin.
Large comfortable room available before check in. Friendly staff! Heat difficulties with unreliable machine led to uncomfortable cold night wearing clothing in bed… Beds need rubber cups to keep them from rolling away as you sit on them—very dangerous! Insufficient breakfast was almost entirely gone when we arrived—replenish, please, so all guests can have some!
This motel is about location. It is 7 minutes from Carlsbad caverns. It is reasonably priced and clean. It has a free grab and go breakfast that is very basic but convenient. There is no food nearby so make sure to pack your dinner or you’ll be making a 40 minute round trip to Carlsbad.

This was a great pit stop for Carlsbad Cavern. Be prepared with food there is nothing around. Limited on amenities.. bring conditioner there is only shampoo. Nice to have a fridge and microwave. Beds seemed firm and comfortable to me.

Good service
We had a small problem with the room, but the management was very understanding and moved us immediately. The new room we were moved to had a nicer fridge and more modern water fixtures than the first room.
This is an older hotel that has had some renovations. For the most part this place is clean and comfortable. Really this place is all about location. We spent 2 nights because we used it to visit both Guadalupe National Forest as well as Carlsbad Caverns. This place was by far best location for easiest access to both those locations.
Closest hotel to Guadalupe National Park and Carlsbad. Rooms were big and spacious. It was clean. Very quiet area. Definitely enjoyed the cereal, muffins, fruit, juice and milk for breakfast. Definitely would stay again. There is one gas station and one restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch only. Rooms had a microwave and fridge. No utensils so bring your own. We ate ramen and cereal for dinner. It was fine. No restaurants or gas stations at Guadalupe National Park either but it was an easy 30 min drive.

Restaurant was closed until Tuesday at 0800 the weekend of spring break. The pool/water slides were also closed, but that was understandable due to it being so early in the season. Not as convenient without food available. Had to go back to Carlsbad for breakfast and dinner.
No restaurants available in area. Next time would stay in Carlsbad

The property is exactly what you pay for. We paid $80 a night through expedia. Clean. Outlet didnt work.
Important: bring food! The cafe is spontaneously open and closed. Not reliable and reviews are very mixed. Suggest a goid meal in Carlsbad, stop at a grocery store for food, including dinner and anything with protien for breakfast. Breakfast provided is cereal and muffins
It is very close to the national park and nice size rooms

The hotel was very basic. The room had what was needed for an overnight stay. We had booked a king room but were given a double queen bc there were no kings available. We had to ask for a hairdryer, but they gave us one right away. Ice was by request at the front desk. Breakfast was cold cereal in the lobby. All these things were fine, but not what we were expecting. The staff at the lobby were very friendly and willing to help.

It was in a very remote location near Carlsbad Caverns. There is very little nearby with the exception of 1 restaurant with limited hours. The property is very old-fashioned -not a USB port anywhere. The included breakfast is cold cereal or a muffin…. Not much at all. But the staff is friendly and helpful.

I was scared when I booked this room because it was so inexpensive but it turned out to be good. I have no complaints about the room. The breakfast was cereal and muffins but we ate at the nearby Cactus Cafe which was great. The hotel is close to the Caverns but far from Carlsbad. If that works for you, it is a winner.
We stayed at this hotel because it was the closest one to Guadalupe Mountains National Park and Carlsbad Caverns. Even though it is an older hotel, it was clean. We spent very little time there other than showering and sleeping. We did sleep well when we were there.
The closest motel to Carlsbad Caverns. Nice size room, good bed, clean, and a surpisingly good value given its proximity to the Nationalp Park. OK breakfast. The one downside is after 3 pm, the closest restaurants are about 30 minites away.
