We were woken up by the smoke alarm at 3am and I tried calling the front desk using the hotel phone but could not get through. I finally had to go the front desk, luckily the agent was able to come up to our room and change the battery of the smoke alarm. But it went off again 20 mins later. The agent was kind enough to move us into another room, upgrading us to a river front view. The second night we were woken up by someone trying to open our door which was very disturbing. Not a great experience for our two nights at the hotel.

We had a beautiful corner room on the 3rd floor, so we had the best river view! We enjoyed the staff and all the little touches that made it a terrific stay--nice breakfast, even decent coffee (rare for a free breakfast bar!), and the cookies at night were a terrific surprise. The linens and the bed were supremely comfortable. We absolutely loved our stay!
