Great place to rest your body

I only stayed one night, was on a long road trip. Everything was clean, bed comfortable, nice pillows. Outside there is an area for picnic with bbq grills, nice lighting and tables. Very inviting. The breakfast was good. Lots of choices. Would definitely stay again.

The setup in tne rooms are nice and updated but the rooms are poorly cleaned. I went through 3 rooms because the sheets were filthy that were on the beds. One bed even had dried blood on them. One had dirt marks as if someone stood up on the bed. In the room I finally settled in there was orange silly string sprayed all over the back of the door and a huge wet spot in the ceiling from the rain and it grew bigger bc it rained literally the entire week of my stay. The breakfast bar was horrible. Poorly put together and barely any choices. I mean there was even cereal with no milk. Staff was nice, lobby was clean, and it was quiet.

There was a strong musty mildew odor in the room. I was told that it was due to the heat, humidity, and recent rains in Alabama. I grew up in Alabama and have stayed in many hotels in Alabama. None of them have smelled like that.
