The Cottage at Wintersun is a 4br/3b 2000sf beautifully decorated home located on the 130 acre Wintersun Estate in the Blue Ridge mountains of North Carolina, and only 20 minutes from the vibrant and exciting city of Asheville, NC and the Biltmore Estate.

For disc golf lovers the house is surrounded by two private disc golf courses so you can play-in and play-out right from your front yard. The disc golf courses have been rated in the top percentage of private courses on the east coast and they are absolutely private, no other players! The short course (11 holes) can be played in 1 hour, while the long course (18 holes) takes about 3 hours and has 4 miles of fairways.

For hikers and walkers you have access to 4 miles of beautiful private hiking trails on the 130 acre Wintersun Estate with beautiful mountain views and much flora and fauna.

Inside the Cottage the upstairs living room has a gas log fireplace and TV with a large comfortable sofa and chairs. There are 3 bed rooms upstairs and 2 baths. Two bedrooms have twin beds while the third has a queen bed and ensuite bath. All linens are supplied.

The kitchen is completely furnished with cooking utensils, coffee maker, microwave, stove, 2 ovens, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, flat ware, plates, glassware, serving platters, cookware, and pots and pans. There is also a washer and dryer.

The downstairs family room has a large screen TV with a large sofa and leather chairs and a kitchenette with a stove and refrigerator for beverages and snacks. There is one bedroom downstairs with a king bed and a full bath. linens supplied. The downstairs dining room is decorated with an antique table and can seat 8 comfortably.

Off of the family room there is a large outside patio with a gas fire pit and comfortable seating.

Guests have access to a trout stream that runs through the estate for fly fishing May-February. A fishing license is required and can be obtained at most Wal-Mart's or Dicks Sporting Goods.
