I was greatful they still had rooms avaliable to rent but being handicapped it was a tough go the toilets are the size a 3 year old could easily use. Making it very difficult to use the facility in my room. Room was very clean. Door to enter room floor was broken frame shattered

There was a cockroach in our room the furst night went to the desk to inform them they told me maintance was going come to take a look, but no one came to our room The directions to get our room was confusing, no signs to where anything was. The pool and the breakfast area was in the basement and the breakfast was cold, no waffle maker but there was batter & syrup. The smoking rooms & non-smoking rooms were in the same hallway, smelled cigarette smoke in the hallway & in our room.

Well it's definitely not your four star hotel but decent enough for a one night, it's old but not bad. The elevator wasn't working but the young lady change my room to the 1st floor due to the medical issues. The room was big with microwave and refrigerator, and Walmart right across the street.

I read reviews about a smell and there was a smell in the hallway. Not a smell of being dirty just a smell. Room was clean but very outdated. I felt like I was staying in a motel 6 that truckers stayed at on a long haul across the Midwest We stayed here to be close to the sub base. It was about 100 a night cheaper than the hotels on the other side of the bridge. Spend the extra 100.00 We stayed 2 nights and housekeeping didn’t come to the room the second day. I love having my bed made and it was a surprise to come back to room after being out all day and the bed not made or garbage emptied. The breakfast was in the basement down a long hallway. Eggs, sausage, breads and cereal. It was included . We went to dunkin instead of having it day two. Not a selling point to staying there. Bed was ok. Sheets felt old and cheap. Room could have been colder for me. Room was big. It was clean. Didn’t feel dirty. We were on the first floor and the people on the floor above us must have had children because from 9-10 pm all we heard was running up and down the hallway upstairs. The hotel is smoke free. This was the main reason I chose this over the others close to 12 If you are on a real budget then I would stay here. But if you have an extra 100 a night to spend then do that instead and stay over the bridge closer to Mystic. I definitely will not be staying here again. I would not recommend any of the budget hotels close to the sub base.

There was black mold on the bathroom ceiling and the bathroom fan didn’t work. I didn’t even want to go into the bathroom. The elevator was broken. There was a weird smell throughout the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Black mold is a very dangerous thing. We asked to be transferred to a different room because of the mold and was told no other rooms was available.

Friendly staff. The room was comfortable and clean, but it definitely needs some fresh paint. Terrible smell of cigarettes in the halls, but our room and the lobby were fine. Breakfast was okay ( bagels, fruits, danishes, cold cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, and eggs with sausage) not a bad stay.

Clean sheets, felt nice, comfortable bed. Otherwise the hotel is falling apart. Hole in floor near deck door and smokers butt device caught on fire outside and smelled the whole side of hotel with butt smoke. $20/night fee for dog. Booked based on reviews won’t return .

You could tell it was an older building. Staff was very nice. The water temperature would go from hot to freezing cold while showering. Breakfast area was in the cellar. Bed was comfortable. Very limited tv stations. Not worth what we paid per night.
