Nice but needs some updating

The hotel lobby was nice and clean, the breakfast had many things to choose from as any small hotel does with free breakfast such as cereal, waffle, eggs, biscuit, some fruit. However. The room was dated especially the bathroom. The tub/shower was a milder style which had a pulled off tile on the wall and the shower curtain with the curved rod. I could see a 1/4 gap in my door that caused me concern as I was staying alone and I felt like someone could easily push the safety lock open. It also allowed light to come straight into my room. The staff was friendly

Even though this is a pretty old building, it is spotless. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. The breakfast buffet was fresh and delicious.
