Staff were AWFUL. Motto should be “screw the guests.
We booked TWO nights. Check in 4/28/2025 check out 4/30/2025. The male staff member (refused to provide name) said both reservations have been cancelled since we didn’t check in before 1am 4/29, but then said actually it’s 2am, actually it’s 3am — I asked if that’s the hotel policy, he said yes. I asked him to provide me with that policy because we were never notified of the cancellation and the only email I received from them was “how was your check in”. When I asked for the hotel policy he refused to provide it and said just “look it up, I told him I can’t find that policy anywhere. He then said “look book another night — it’s one night get out over it” I told him would I be charged? He said yes. I said will it be the same price or more? He said “a lot more”. I explained that’s not fair or right to me the guest, I reiterated I booked two nights already, called to tell the hotel we would be checking in late since we are driving 14 hours away they said that’s no problem at all. He argued and said all we can do is book another night, we asked to speak to the manager and he said “no”, a woman then said give us 10 minutes to figure it out. We come back and she has our original reservations back. She helped — he should be fired asap. He was rude, unhelpful, unprofessional, lied, and refused to provide the policy (which staff should do). Because of him I’ll never stay at this hotel again, I’d rather sleep on the street.
