Luskin is an excellent hotel overall. So convenient to UCLA central! The amenities of smart water, gym, convenient parking, mistral products and the VIP perks of drinks is great. For VIP, it would be nice to have slippers and robe, and a coffee service available to VIP, and upper level floor. The art and indoor-outdoor dining space is lovely. The dining maitre d was not so attentive but she claimed she was finishing her shift. The rooms are nicely appointed but there is already signs of wear and tear (probably due to the popularity of Luskin). I hope they can keep this hotel in great condition. Would still recommend this hotel to friends and family.

This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel. We’ve always had a great stay with the staff and services. However, I’m not sure if they have a new staff or what has happened. But, the front desk gave no help when we asked some questions about sightseeing around the area. They literally looked at us and said we don’t really know. Then the manager who was seating guests in the restaurant was very rude to multiple people just asking for a table. It was obvious he didn’t want to be working. If this was our first visit, we would not have returned. The hotel is located in a great area, in the middle of the UCLA campus on the border of Beverly Hills with many shops and restaurants.
