Nice hotel

Property was nice. Weirdly it had a kitchenette with empty cabinets, no toaster, a minimalist coffee maker, so really no need for also much space as we were only able to microwave our food. Long Beach needs new city management to address the street loitering disturbances. It makes it difficult to sleep. Not the hotel’s fault, but definitely homeless or not they should not be allowed to scream out in the streets and harass people

This place was so cute just like a mini apartment. The vibe was so esthetic. The only thing was there was no elevators but it only goes up to three floors. So not so bad.

Nice, spacious room. Almost more like a studio apartment in a historic building. Easy walk to the convention center. Appreciated there’s a small market across the street for a few groceries. Some noise from other rooms and the street but I slept fine.

Convenient location

The hotel was conveniently located and self check-in was easy. There are no staff on site but the check in info was shared on the day of check in by email. The room itself was ok. Smaller than expected. There was a small kitchenette but not much for dishes or cloths/soap. Tiny single person coffee maker was missing parts. The room was located at the front of the building with old single pane windows so the noise from the street below was loud. The manager was very prompt and accommodating when we needed help. Overall the hotel was what we needed for a couple of nights but wouldn’t stay longer.

Best property is located in the wonderful art district of Long Beach very central to a lot of restaurants bars entertainment. Pack light because there are no elevators. It’s a historic building so stars it is I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is fairly quiet. I would definitely book again.

Tracy was the best part of our stay. She was very friendly and accommodating for storing our luggage, as there is no elevator, which was our biggest issue, because we are elderly and my husband uses a cane, so going up and down the stairs was somewhat difficult. She also allowed me to use her printer to print off our boarding passes for our cruise. As far as the room goes, I was somewhat disappointed. The floors had not been properly swept or mopped ( there were a few dead bugs and the bottom of my husband's socks got dirty after walking around the room a few times). The mattress was horribly too soft, which caused significant back pain after sleeping on it two days. The bathroom and kitchen areas appeared to be clean. Overall, it was mainly the floors that seemed to have gotten overlooked while cleaning. The few bugs appeared to be small dead roaches, which obviously proves that poison had been set out to keep them at bay, which is typical (especially in hot climates). Overall, the room was doable for a short stay, and is in a convenient location. Very close to Vons grocery store, a short walk to the beach, and various nail/ hair salons, etc .... The hotel also keeps the entrance locked, which is good for safety. However, they are not 24/7. They are open from 10 am until? Honestly, I won't stay there again, because no elevator, but other than that it's an ok place to stay.
