The Carpets Need a shampoo as you could see dirt walked into the bathroom off the carpet floor. Otherwise location is great, pool and general amenities were fine.

The room is tired, there is no view. We were given coffee but no water. Vending machines showed water but they were sold out on every floor. The staff didn’t care and said I could walk down to Trader Joe’s if I wanted water. And then there is the $50/night parking fee that isn’t mentioned when you book. Overall none of us (we booked 3 separate rooms) were happy with our accommodations.

Place was nice The whole calling for new clean towels was slight inconvenience as I had to remember to call and request but then they did not pick up dirty towels. Also the security deposit for each night is high and I did not see it mentioned on their website or hotel write up.

I was extremely upset to find so many fees when checking in. I got to the hotel expecting a smooth process. Then I was told I had to pay a 50$ parking fee. Then I was told I had to pay a 300 deposit but because I was only staying 1 night they would discount it to 150. I was told I would get my deposit back upon check out but it would depend on my bank. I did book through hotels.com but I also look on official website. Neither made any mention of a deposit or a parking charge. This not only took away extra money from my trip but since my bank still has not released the deposit that I was NEVER made aware of it messed up personal bills. I will say this, my husband and I enjoyed our trip to Hollywood but we will never stay with this hotel again. It felt like such a scam. I couldn’t even cancel our reservations because I would have been charged regardless. This is such poor customer service and an underhanded way to take advantage of people.

The property is way past due on a re-fresh. There is no food on the property, with no breakfast options. Great location for night life but departing in the morning is not convenient.

It was clean, it was basic, and the location is excellent on Santa Monica Boulevard, very close to a bunch of restaurants and apparently some happening nightlife. Right across from a Trader Joe's with car access to the Sunset Strip (you can walk but it's all uphill; bus stop is also walkable but a bit of a hike). There's a fun lobby, a mural near the on-site parking, and there once was a bar (which is now purely decorative). Parking very pricey ($50) but appears to include in/out privileges. It's seen better days and I'm surprised it still has the Ramada name. Since there's no restaurant, the vending machines are well-stocked. Pool is small and on the second floor. Beds are comfortable; maid service is by request only, though they were happy to provide more coffee. In-room fridge was adequate. Staff was helpful though not always visible. When I asked them to call me a cab I got some sort of rideshare with no meter, so if you really want a taxi, be specific.
