Great hotel in a good location

We were very pleased with this hotel and I will definitely use it again next time I am in Madrid. Stefan was very helpful at check-in and answering our other questions. Later in the day Brenda was on duty and was also quite patient and helpful.

It was a pleasant stay and everyone was very polite, helpful and lovely. The facilities were very clean and good. It also had a bus stop right in front and Plaza Mayor was about 3-4 mins away (and I walk slow). I definitely recommend this place to stay.

La ubicación es buena, no me gustó el recibimiento que tuvimos ya que se anunció desde que se hizo la reserva que nos acompañaría un pero de soporte emocional. Al llegar a la propiedad no tenían el conocimiento y percibimos malestar. De hecho, la propiedad no se ajusta a tener un perro de servicio o mascota, aún siendo “Pet Friendly”. Asimismo las instalaciones son demasiado incómodas, pequeñas, muchísimas escaleras por dentro, un solo ascensor pequeñísimo y los pasillos parecen laberintos. El cuarto que nos asignaron sumamente pequeño, el baño debería mejorar el área donde se ubica el inodoro, la misma no es apropiada para personas incapacitadas u obesas. Las toallas se encuentran ubicadas dentro de una bolsa que indica “Usarse solo si fuera necesario” realmente nos causó gracia dentro de tantas dificultades. Nos gustó mucho que en la mañana dejan un detalle en la puerta y el jabón, loción y shampoo son de buena calidad y tamaños.

A lovely refurbished property in a great location for metro services and very close to Plaza Mayor. Staff were very friendly and the Coffee Corner in the Basement where free drinks plus fruit and biscuits were available was an excellent addition. I would certainly be more than happy to stay in this location again.

Accommodating and friendly staff. It’s a budget friendly stay and the shower was amazing after a long day of travel and walking. It’s not a luxury hotel but if you are looking for a nice low cost place close to lots of things this place is great. There are stairs just fyi if you can’t go up and down stairs it’s not for you.

Beware. Stairs to elevator and to top floor.

The hotel was nice and in the center of town. Beware that you MUST CLIMB ONE FLIGHT OF STAIRS TO GET TO LEVEL 2-5. if you reserve the top room ON LEVEL 6, you have to WALK UP ANOTHER FLIGHT OF STAIRS. this was difficult as we were on a two week cruise and had extremely heavy luggage. Other than the difficulty getting to our room- the hotel is a nice location to stay in Madrid.
