Lovely hotel, check in soothe and welcoming. Apartment good size and nice touch with fridge and tea making facilities. Breakfast was excellent with choice for everybody. Pool small but adequate. Again nice that towels are handed out. Rooftop bar superb, food options adequate, so busy but hotels guests given priority. Good location, no complaints at all.

I had a fantastic experience at Riu Plaza España! The rooftop views are absolutely spectacular, offering a breathtaking panorama of Madrid that’s perfect for photos or simply soaking in the city’s beauty. Best breakfast buffet ever

The best breakfast buffet I’ve ever had in any country, they offered the widest selection. Location was convenient for walking, right at the end of Gran Via (our longest walk was about 35min to El Retiro Park). Front desk service was standard. Gym had a good variety of cardio and resistance training equipment. Pool hours are limited so we never made it. With so many elevators (6), for whatever reason it takes forever for the elevator cab to come, and even when it did arrive, sometimes it was already full of passengers and you needed to wait all over again. Rooftop bar/lounge area gets busy at night (there was a line to take a picture at the glass floor popout) but you get free roof entry as a hotel guest and it has an amazing view of the city. Central to shopping—Literally sandwiched between a Mango and a Zara downstairs. Would stay here again.

The hotel is great. Luxurious, clean, and classy. The room I got was in a corner and it was big and very comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. It is at the start of La Gran Via street where there are a lot of stores and restaurants. Easy access to taxis and public transportation. My only quibble is that the water changes from freezing cold to scalding hot in a millisecond. So, be very, very careful. The windows open around two inches only, if you want fresh air. I would stay again in this hotel.

Beautiful hotel with incredible rooftop views of Madrid. Great location. The only complaint is that the elevators take a really long time during breakfast hours, and we had to take stairs to go downstairs every morning.

Breakfast is plentiful, but very bland. 6 elevators and only one works at a time, due to the amount of people I waited over 13 minute's for an elevator while the other 5 stayed unused. Great location but a bit over priced for the size of the room. Skybar seems a bit chaotic at times. Trying to dine with several people walking through. Very pricing indeed.

We booked a room with two beds and it was very spacious, the beds were firm but comfortable, and it was quiet, we couldn’t hear any noise from the street. There are no sleepers so bring your own, the carpet is not soft so walking with bare feet is not recommended also not sanitary :) The breakfast was the best, varied, good quality and the service provided was great. The hotel is very well located, we didn’t use the metro but there was one close by, there are lots of shops, cafés and restaurants around. We highly recommend it.
