Check in was overly complicated with instructions. The staff was very accommodating, friendly. We needed a space heater because the wall heater didn't work & and extra blanket which they delivered right away. The pool was heated which was very nice for an evening dip. The grounds are clean, but much needed maintenance for updates and repairs. The unit was clean, everything worked, shower, toilet, kitchen, TV, just not the wall heater. Also needs some big cosmetic updates to be super quaint, but for the price, it was on par. We'll be back soon !

The room was atrocious. Two lightbulbs were burnt out; toilet barely flushed; all of the plastic mini blinds were broken off leaving holes for people to look in; the closet had broken jagged tiles; there was only one useable glass to drink from; no Kleenex; no shower mat; no hand soap; no sink stopper and the TV didn’t work. I am requesting a total refund as we left early and didn’t stay the second night.

It's sad. This is someone's business and I'm sure their livelihood, but unfortunately it is unacceptable. On the plus the pool and hot tub were nice (not resort quality) The beds and linens were very nice. Our two bedroom suite was spacious. There are layers. The first layer is how nice the place is. It is NOT a remodeled 50s boutique hotel. It is old and run down. There are wires stapled to the ceiling and walls. Big gaps around the heater. Handles missing on the closet door. and on and on and on. OK, I can live with that if the price is right. And in all fairness the price wasn't too bad. The pool and hot tub were nice. However there are things that are unacceptable. They were short on towels when we got there. Someone claimed the dryer was broken. We were charged a resort fee, which isn't appropriate when it's just a standard 50s hotel like every other one in Palm Springs. But to be charged a resort fee and not be given pool towels?!! then the bad stuff. The toilet wasn't secure. It felt like it was going to tip over when I sat on it. It actually felt dangerous. The bath tub did not drain. Blind in bedroom didn't work. Kitchen cabinet doors falling off. There was no soap or wash cloths. I'm sorry, but this is like the straw that broke the camel's back. There were just too many negatives and some that were not just cosmetic. Then on top of all this they wanted a photo of my credit card. I was supposed to pay $50 at the resort for a resort fee (which wasn't wor

Wire just stapled to ceiling. The wire was not code compliant and should have been run in a raceway. this is a safety violation.

I do not recommend this place. Accommodations are well below average and not what was in the description on the booking site. We left soon after our arrival. The room smelled like smoke although they have a no smoking policy. A few things were broken such as the TV, the ceiling fan(lights), blinds(no privacy) and pool table was not useable. I booked three nights thru Expedia who dealt with The Float on the refund process since I used a third party booking service. I was initially informed I would be charged for one night which is understandable, but then received a follow up email stating I would not receive a partial refund at all. I don't know what changed, but very disappointing.

I booked it then they wanted to do a no contact check in and all theses other things making the check in impossible from long distance i booked all the time for our employeesand never have a problem.they said they would do a cancellation waiver to get my refund and hotels.com said they couldn’t get ahold of them we lost $135.00
