Beyond amazing and worth every penny

We flew in for a family emergency where a loved one was suddenly in ICU at Scripps. The Embassy gave us a beautiful, comfortable, peaceful place of reprieve after long days at the hospital. The staff was incredible, absolutely accommodating as our needs evolved during the week. The breakfast was wonderful and convenient. The two free drinks in the evening were exactly what we needed to chill a little bit, and the food from the restaurant was delicious. Different members of our family will be flying in and out of San Diego for a long time while our loved one recovers, and we are telling everyone to go to the Embassy.

This is an excellent property to stay and eat and shop. The only negative I could find was the parking garage is a multilevel parking garage,has no elevator the lower level go fast and are also used by the adjoining restaurant. Hard very hard to get in and out of when you’re taking luggage and things in and out of the parking garage because there is no street level parking available.

Great hotel

Great hotel with plenty of breakfast options, close to UCSD, great service. Will stay here again when in San Diego. Only thing I didn’t love was cost of parking

Nice place in a good location, and although it has an in-door pool which is very convenient, jacuzzi was outside and there were some spots with pooled water around the pool; very crowded times during breakfast, with big lines and difficulty to find some food, including that staff of kitchen was not very friendly, in addition problems to find parking spots, including that you need to pay for parking.
