Beautiful hotel, needs better maintenance

Hotel was very nice and clean, when checking in front desk staff was very accommodating. The rooms do seem to need more maintenance, the sink was kind of clogged, room phone did not work, light on one of the night stands was not working properly and flickering. The biggest issue was at night a hallway light when entering the room the would not turn off, had to go to the front desk because phone did not work and ask for help. An older lady was helpful in trying to resolve the issue as she said they have received the same complaint numerous times. What she recommended did not work, i had to go back down to resolve the issue and a younger lady was trying ti give me directions like if i did not know how to work a light switch or saying that the older ladies instructions were wrong. A gentleman overheard and gave me the same instructions the older lady did to fix it but when i said it did not work he went up to the room and after messing with the light switch he was able to turn it off. Overall an okay experience.

The hotel was near the water and quiet. There was a nice restaurant in the hotel that had an excellent breakfast and a late-night bar. The Valet service was $60 per day! My only request during the two days was extra towels since they wanted us to reuse the towels and there was no towel bar for drying. The text message said they will be right up; however they never arrived.
