Property was awesome! We stayed in March. Staff there were kind, professional, and so quick with response to our room with getting more towels etc. So prompt!!!! Amazing!! Our room was upgraded upon arrival which was so nice. Pool was not heated like advertised. The only negative. But enjoyed the jacuzzi. I only took off 1 star for location because it sits in front of an area where when it rains, there's two runs from the city that washes in street debris water after it rains into the ocean. We had a lifeguard stop us when we were on the beach and tell us they were rip tides (no flags out) to bring our kids in closer (9 and 6 years old) and that the water wasnt clean to swim in, that we better bathe them well. No signs saying this. So it was quite shocking for CA while visiting my home state.

Staff was very nice, check-in and out was a breeze, and our room was very clean. You absolutely cannot beat this location. We had a partial ocean view from our balcony which was lovely. This is definitely a party area so look elsewhere if you're wanting for a quiet night. They do provide ear plugs, but we didn't mind the ambient noise.

Relaxing getaway

Overall the hotel is great. Clean and right in the heart of Pacific Beach. Here are my complaints..staff is not that friendly except the man that helped us change rooms. ( sorry forgot his name) upon check in we got no directions ..we had to ask where an elevator was to get to our room. Another interaction was asking where the laundry room was. I just got a point to go that way. It was further than expected. FYI laundry room had no soap to buy or a coin machine . So if you’re not needing that warm fuzzy welcome it’s fine. Only other problem we had was our first night the bed was the worst sleep ever.( room 204) we changed rooms to 203 and the bed was way better. Breakfast is good and will fill you up until lunch or dinner. Don’t get me wrong I would stay there again.

Great property! Nicely decorated/clean rooms with a gorgeous view. Breakfast is nice that's it's included. Only feedback to the hotel is to clean the jacuzzi better.

The hotel has a cool mid-century vibe. Right on the ocean and boardwalk in Pacific Beach. Clean rooms that are comfortable. Lacking a little storage for extended stays. The included breakfast is basic so we opted for other choices. The heated hot tub and pool were a nice amenity. This location is right in the heart of Pacific Beach and why we didn’t hear too much noise I have been told and could get loud at times.

Loved our stay.

Very clean. Lovely location with a great ocean view. Clean pool and hot tub. We had a great stay. If you are a light sleeper, be aware that it is in close proximity to restaurants/bars and sound carries into hotel rooms primarily on weekend nights. Hotel does provide ear plugs but we were fine without them.
