The staff was incredibly welcoming and sweet. Hotel lobby smelled amazing and looked beautiful. Our room has a cool sea-side theme, and is lovely. All around a great stay for my daughter's 16th birthday!

MVC is such a wonderful hotel and we’ll be sure to stay there again when we go back to San Francisco. Staff are friendly and facility is clean. Great hotel. Everyone was super friendly. There is noise on the “urban” side of the building but it didn’t keep us awake at all. Super close to Fisherman's Wharf.

Location was convenient with various tourist attractions nearby. Liked the mini muffins/coffee made available to guests every morning. Enjoyed the gym and use of the laundry to wash clothes after a workout. Disappointing that I had requested a surprise for partners 50th Birthday and was informed that “something” would be sent to our room. This “Something” never arrived!

A complete rip-off!

We booked a room at this hotel for one night, as we were taking a cruise out of SF the following afternoon. The stay was comfortable enough. However, when we returned home from the cruise, I was chagrined to discover that I had been charged twice for the room on two different cards. I have since made numerous phone calls to try to rectify their error. To date, they have not corrected themselves.

The courtyard was a bit noisy with young children playing around. I suppose that cannot be helped. Not having any dining options on site made things a bit inconvenient. The hotel was conveniently located in the North Beach area.
