We were in Santa Barbara for my nieces wedding. We booked 3 king rooms for 3 nights at Harbor View - I only wish we could have stayed longer!!! Barbara at check in was fantastic! We stayed in the newer North building with a city view. The rooms are newly renovated and spotlessly clean. The decor and design is lovely. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was quick to provide extra towels and hangers and made sure our room was serviced early before we had to get ready for the wedding. (The beds are hands down the most comfy hotel beds ever) On-site parking is super convenient. The hotel is centrally located which made walking to shops and restaurants so easy. I hope to get back to Santa Barbara again. I will definitely stay at Harbor View!! We looked at other hotels as we walked around. Harbor View is the only place we would stay.

Our room was large with a king bed and sofabed. Perfect for me and my two teenage kids. The view from our balcony was mostly of the parking lot with a side view of the ocean. It was okay but really didn’t matter as we weren’t there to sit on the balcony. Being across the street from the beach was perfection. I was easily able to wake up and walk over to witness the gorgeous sunrise on the beach. I even gave my daughter a photoshoot one of those mornings. She loved it! We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast next door at Jeanene’s. Delicious! Beware that there is a bit of a line so go first thing in the morning if you can. Two things I wish they would update - the shampoo and conditioner bottles are small and hard to use. I would much rather they had the refillable large bottles with pumps attached to the walls I’ve seen at other hotels. The other thing is I wish they had nicer pool towels. Other than that, we loved it there!
