Nice service, affordable

Very friendly and helpful service. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub was not available for our stay and was a main reason we chose this place over others, so that was a bummer. I recommend staying on the top floor because you can hear every move people make above you.

Comfortable Stay ... Plan for Resort Fee

Comfortable stay. Rooms were clean and nice with interesting decorations and furniture from the local culture. No breakfast options at the lodge and they charged a resort fee which is not included in the booking fee. Hard to get value from about $30 resort fee a day when the pool is closed. Other items covered by the fee are typically free (WiFi and parking).

Nice place however the amenities fee is ridiculous. I was aware if a ‘resort’ fee of $25 per night. They do charge you tax on tip if that too. I found out this is for you standard hotel amenities like wifi, room cleaning, water and coffee in rooms, parking……even if you don’t use any of it. What a scam!!! Disappointed. Will not stay here again.

The shower didn't work well, the diverter was never fully engaged, and the water would turn off as you turned the temperature regulator. Tub faucet pulled from the wall to let water leak into the wall. The room was clean and pet-friendly—next to a Santa Fe open space. They add a $25 daily "amenity fee," which you will be charged at the end of the stay, along with daily fees and taxes. And there's at least a $60 pet fee.

The hot tub didn’t work…it was lukewarm and dirty they only reason to stay there was to relax in the hot tub and that wasn’t even an option. The smell was horrible like a mildew and the shower had no pressure had to play with the shower handle to get any water and really outdated. Only positive was the friendly front desk people. Worst part is there is a resort fee and it’s not even close to what a resort offers. Only one ice machine in the main building and carpets in hallways were filthy. And saw two dogs one taking a piss in the hallway. Dogs shouldn’t be allowed in a hotel or separate them from people who want a clean environment. I wouldn’t recommend and wish I could get a refund.

We enjoyed our time at The Lodge. The staff was always pleasant; they had iced lemon water and great coffee in the lobby all the time. We had a vehicle so we could easily get to The Plaza, to restaurants, etc. Beautiful building with nice views. Currently, there is no restaurant, but that worked fine for my adult son and me. It was quiet and perfect for us.

Lost Ground on this Visit... :(

The team was great. The bedding needed an optional Blanket. 2 sheets with a light wt. Bedspread sandwiched in, was not comfortable (chilly too) Outlets in bathroom were disfunction And ɓathroom lock had been smashed & was floppy & not able to lock. The lobby "coffee corner" could not produce tea, or even just water & half/ half for my own tea bags (which I had brought, since I'm not a coffee drinker) It was off season for food services & didn't even offer packaged Danish for customers. I was told they were starting a large refurbish, too bad we went afforded those possible amenities. I've stayed on priory 2x before & knew it was modest but comfortable for an overnighter... this time I wish I had booked elsewhere with the exception of your desk & maid service which were great. (Maintenance should not have rented the room prior to repairs listed above) But, that's a MGT. ISSUE not topically STAFF/CREW.
