Great location! In process of renovation. Our A/C didn’t work so it was pretty uncomfortable. An engineer was sent twice but he said that was as good as it gets. Access to the pool was also difficult. The last day they only supplied decaf coffee!! Best part was the Hilltop lounge!!

Closed for renovations

It took forever to get hot water for a shower the first day, then none the second day. Restaurant & lounge were closed for renovation. No one at the pool bar either. It would’ve been nice if they would tell you that when booking the reservation. I was taking my husband their for his birthday and planned to just relax there & not have to go out for breakfast, lunch & dinner.

We enjoyed the decor and feeling of "being away" from it all. But, we were very upset that the restaurant was closed for renovations - and had been for over TWO MONTHS !!! Why was this not noted when the reservation was made, by both the hotel and/or Expedia!

Overall this hotel is a nice place to stay. I do think it would be nice to have a mini fridge and microwave in every room. Also, a designated smoking area that IS NOT right in front of the hotel entrance. Non smokers should not have to be near or smell cigarette smoke. This hotel offers a laundry facility which is great but the drink machine located in the same area ate my money with no drink coming out. I told the front desk and they didn’t offer a refund or a solution. Kind of a bummer. The gym is a throwback to the 80’s but if you are creative, you can get an ok workout in!

The staff here was awesome, but the property itself could use a refresh. The bathroom and fixtures were extremely dated...but if all you are going to do is sleep in the room, it is totally fine. The pool area is very nice too

This hotel is conveniently located to Santa Fe plaza. It was quiet and clean, but the property is old and showing signs of wear. Our room was accessible from the back of the property, and it seemed a little iffy, but ended up being fine. We also kept finding the door being propped open with a heavy piece of rock. It seemed like someone did it to give non guest access, which didn't seem safe. We removed it twice and tossed it in the garden, but in the morning it was back. Otherwise our stay was fine but not sure we would stay more than one night.

Excellent customer service. Large rooms. Good bed. Old interior needs updating. Bathroom had a constant sewer like smell. Toilet was so old the white paint on the lid was partially rubbed off so it was white and brown. Rooms need more and brighter lighting. Carpet had lots of stains - needed shampooing. Great location. Beautiful exterior. Nice make-your-own coffee options in the lobby. Front desk called me on the third day just to make sure things were going well. That was a nice touch.

Hot tub doesn’t have jets. When we asked the staff said it had been so long since they worked, staff had removed the button to turn them on. This must have been a beautiful place once. It’s in such need of new ownership and repair, it’s astounding it’s remained open. They padlock all entrances to the pool area except for the lobby because”local undesirables were entering the pool area”. I don’t even think that’s legal from a fire hazard standpoint. Points to the lady at the pool bar for being very sweet and at least trying to do the right thing in spite of insurmountable obstacles

Staff was friendly and helpful. Needed bar soap and took a bit for them to find it but did get it to us. When I mentioned my wife could not do stairs, they placed us on first floor close to entrance with no stairs. Nice! The free morning coffee was also a nice touch.
