The room was beautiful and it seemed to be recently remodeled. The casino are is under construction for remodeling. This was not mentioned anywhere on there web site. The exterior area was very confusing, it said check-in when parking, but nothing on the exterior of the building. When we finally got to what looked like a temporary check-in desk the staff was extremely friendly. I stated that I had some handicap issues she explained where the parking was, but there was nothing on the building telling us if this where we should be. After walking around a while, the one thing I can’t do well, and with some assistance from a worker we got to our room. The biggest problem was the long walk from our room to the casino and restaurant areas. That was a major problem and issue. My wife and I love the Tahoe area and have visited over the last 45 years or so. But our chances of staying with you again are probably slim at this time.

The room was in poor condition, holes in the drapes, woodwork damaged, toilet didn't flush properly, shower area finish was peeling. The staff was very nice and location for our stay was ideal.

We had some issues but the golden nugget accommodated us and help fix the issue right away without push back. We love staying here and will continue to come. Lots of remodeling being done can’t wait to see the finished product. New rush lounge was awesome to see but Bills sports lounge is by far our favorite part.

We were very impressed with the upgraded rooms; it was definitely a 5 star. We were disappointed that the oyster bar was not opened. We went instead to the steak house. We ordered the chicken fried steak and the chicken fried chicken. We would give this restaurant a 2-3 star rating. The crust was too thick and the meat dried out. The gravy was tasteless.
