Miserable stay

It was the worst weekend get away of my life. No hot water, no water pressure, room service never cleaned the room, and security was on our floor several times each night pounding on the doors of partying college students rooms. It was a miserable stay.

The overall property looks like its under perpetual renovation but the worst part was the unsightly pool area and the service from the steakhouse staff! I was ignored while in the patio area in 40* weather with just area heaters for an unacceptable amount of time and the manager was impatient and irrated with me. To top it off the food was subpar!!

This trip was very unpleasant. We were booked on a floor with multiple fraternities. Every single night they were being BEYOND noisy. Girls screaming up and down the hall yelling curse words, loud music, slamming doors and having a full on party. The first night the staff were super understanding, The next night the man at the desk was being very dismissive and kept saying “someone already called we’re sending someone up” although even after they sent someone up, nobody stopped being loud. It was beyond anything I’ve dealt with. I have videos of me being in the ROOM and it being so noisy you think they were all in the room with us. We counted about 40 people all coming in or out of that one room. The entire floor also smelled so strongly of marijuana, you’d think it was a dispensary.

Hotel responsibility to moniter guests behavior.

The constructiion can be overlooked because an update is obviously needed,however: the lack of any sensitivity to all of your guests needs was in my mind appaling. The fact that you allowed the colledge kids from Chico State to basically take over your hotel and run the halls much of the night stomping and shouting and clearly fuled by alcohol was beyond anything I have ever seen. We witnessed many cases of beer and alcohol being carried in and was, I'm sure being consumed by many who were probably not even old enough to drink, let alone responsibly. I would niether reccommend nor choose to stay at your hotel again.

Our favorite hotel in south lake

Easy check in, easy to find parking. Just wanted an easy weekend and we don’t like to be bothered with a bunch of offers at the check in, which didn’t happen so we were relieved.

Hotel was under construction, girl at the front desk and check in with helpful but never smiled. Was a little disappointed that the room didn't even have a mini fridge or microwave. And the bed was not very comfortable.

We always stay at Golden Nugget when we can but we probably won’t go back to this one. We had to ask for extra coffee and towels three times before we got it. The air would not work and the heat just kept going making our room miserable. Not but two restaurants and there was no where to get coffee before 7 am. Also there was three college fraternity staying there making it very loud and you could not even get an elevator.

We were just in Reno a couple months ago and we’re supposed to go back there this last weekend but nobody in our group wanted to because it was not a good experience. He decided to go to Lake Tahoe because of the beauty of the whole place. In Reno has turned into just a dirty little town.

Honestly wouldn't stay here again. Price was fine until you actually check in and are charged $20 a day for parking, $50 per night "deposit" and a $50 early check in fee for a room that I was told was ready. Construction going on in front of the hotel. We were put in a room in the middle of a room block for a wedding and literally could not sleep on Saturday. There was a weird clicking/dripping sound all night too. Elevators are barely functioning either. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.
