Black Bear Haus is a lovely remodeled cabin on Tahoe's West Shore. Sunny and Bright, this cute little house is perfect for a couple on a romantic getaway. Beautiful leather furniture and a 55-inch TV, Blu-ray/DVD player. Tastefully decorated with an open floor plan. Very homey with a new king mattress as of May 2024. Sunny patio with 4 chairs and a round table, a chaise lounge chair on the front deck, and a propane BBQ. The bathroom is also completely remodeled with a nice new tub and granite tile.
Enjoy the hot tub on the back deck. Gas fireplace and wireless internet. High-efficiency washer and dryer are down the interior stairs and to the left.
There are approximately 13 stairs from the parking area down to the cabin - not wheelchair accessible. Garage not accessible for renters.
Please note: Homeowner or guest of owner may occasionally use the apartment below the garage, away from the main house, with separate entrance and no interruption to you and your vacation.

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights, lock the doors, and return the keys
• Leave any fireplace ashes IN the fireplace (if applicable)
• Do not make any beds
• Start your last set of dishes in the dishwasher
• Collect all trash and dispose of it in the bear-proof bin or dumpster outside
Do NOT leave the key in bear-proof bin door
Let us know if the bear-proof bin is too full to put all your trash inside
• Turn thermostat down to 55 (do not turn off!)
• Turn lights off, secure and lock all doors and windows
• Turn on electric Bear Fencing (if applicable)
• Return keys to HRG Lockbox.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
