I was not able to control the HVAC which was set on73. The room was hot. The smell of smoking was awful. these two together just made the stay not enjoyable at all.

Musky smell

The service is always good. This particular time when we walked in the hotel reeked with a musky odor. When we went to our room I was hoping to find a more pleasant smell but it reeked of moth balls! I called the front desk to be moved to a different room due to the unpleasant smell and the bath tube had a dirt ring around the inside of the tube, indicating it had not been cleaned.The young man moved us immediately to a another room. We usually stay at this location whenever we come to town, because it is affordable, clean, and the staff is friendly. This was our first unpleasant encounter. I hope they take my comments and use them to better the situation.

Our stay was good. Only complain was the breakfast. Had waffle, muffins, grits, slice bread, cereal. We prefer eggs with bacon or sausage.

Worth the drive

My stay was good. The AC/heater worked as it should. The bed was comfy and the sheets were clean. The bathroom was clean and the water was hot enough and had good pressure. I didn't eat the breakfast or drink the coffee so I can't comment on that. I usually stay near where my son lives which only gives me an expensive option or a dump so for the price, I was happy. And there's lots of shopping and restaurants near by.

We had no hot water 2 days in a row - the free breakfast was continual which means just a sugar breakfast . The coffee was just tolerable , powdered creamer is not really a good thing . I would like 1/2 my money back it learned my lesson!

Family Stay

Check in was seamless and the staff was very friendly. The room was clean and quiet. I did pay extra for a kitchenette but there were no utensils, plates, or cookware. Just empty cabinets. So be aware if you get a kitchenette, bring all of your own stuff.

Friendly staff, maybe a 1 star hotel

The front desk staff are friendly and kind. The hotel and rooms, would not recommend. Beds were old, hard. Bedding was dingy, old and thin. Surfaces were sticky. Walls were thin, doors were heavy. Lots of coming and going all night with slamming doors, could hear neighbors talking and moving in bed most of the night and other wall could hear their tvs.
