It was our first time in Amsterdam and The Albus Hotel was the perfect hotel for us! It was in the middle of literally everything and the staff were so lovely and helpful! Would definitely stay there again!

Noisy builders. Hot rooms

Stayed here for 3 nights. On the first morning was woken by builders that were renovating the floor above us. The time was 7.20am. I went to receprion who said they shouldnt start until 10am which after a call to them changed to 7am as "they have alot to get done". They were also constantly using the slow lift which meant unless you wanted a long wait you had to take the stairs. Luckily they didn't work for the following 2 nights stay as it was the weekend but i feel sorry for anyone that stays during the week. They should close the place whilst the work is done. The rooms are also boiling hot, even with the windows open with near minus tempretures outside. On the plus side the location is great.

A great weekend break

The hotel is in a fab. location, you can walk to all the main sights in mins. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff could not have been more helpful. We will come back and stay at this hotel as we only saw a few of the the many attractions.

Fabulous time

Can't fault this hotel at all. Room was very comfortable and staff couldn't be more pleasant or helpful. Perfect location to walk into centre. Coffee on arrival was much appreciated. Sight seeing hop on hop off by boat is a must - jump off at each stop, see what you want to see and catch the next boat to the next stop. Heineken Experience, Body Worlds, diamond factory not to be missed. Already planning next visit to Amsterdam and will stay at The Albus Hotel again. Thanks to all for a fab holiday

Lovely Hotel...Great location

The Albus Hotel is a lovely, modern hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Our room was quite small but comfortable and very clean. The free use of the safe box was a nice addition. The Albus is situated in a good location for bars, shops and restaurants. If you need a taxi let the Albus staff sort this for you as their rates are very fair and you will know in advance what you have to pay. On our arrival at Amsterdam airport, we made the mistake of using a taxi service situated outside the airport.....BE VERY CAREFUL!!!!!! you will be immensely overcharged. We would highly recommend The Albus Hotel.

Weekend Break

Great hotel for couples or families in a fantastic location (10min walk from Amsterdam central station). Staff friendly and helpful. Able to explore the city and all it has to offer within short walking distance. Found great bars and restaurants in Amsterdam we never knew existed. Would definitely book this hotel and location again.

Fantastic three day break in Amsterdam

The Albus hotel is a fabulous modern, clean and friendly hotel with a fantastic location. The staff were so helpful and their recommendations were brilliant. I would definitely stay in this hotel again. Thank you for making our three days so special.
