The walls are paper thin so I could hear the couple next door watching something loud - there aren’t TVs in the room so I guess they brought a laptop with them or something. The shower was original to the property and the glazing was pitted and falling apart. There were spiders and mildew around the bathroom because there isn’t a vent - just the window. Everything in the room looks nice when you stand way back at the door, but when you get up close you see it’s very surface level. The people at the front desk are nice, and the property is convenient walking distance to the village, so it wasn’t terrible, it’s just the room.

Sierra Blue is a pet friendly hotel, yet it didn’t stink like pets. I’ve got allergies and I appreciated that. My only complaint is that the internet kept rebuffering when trying to watch TV.

Pros: Walking distance to The Village. Thoughtful and considerate staff. Comfortable bed. Some elevated touches such as the air purifier in the hallways. White noise machine in the room (as a solution for some other reviews mentioning noise in hallways/through walls). Cons: Bathroom updates done sloppily, mold on ceiling, and paint peeling off window sill. Unfortunately not very clean - animal fur was on the comforter and Pendleton blanket - which is an issue for those with allergies/asthma (like me).

Absolutely disgusting room. Filthy sheets. Dog and human hair everywhere. Dirt and toe nail clipping in sheets. No manager ever even called to address it. They moved me to a room with double/queen bed even though I selected a king originally. Awful.

Great location, great staff, clean rooms. One note: We could hear footsteps above us, so if you're a light sleeper, make sure to request higher floor.

Beds were comfy minus the dog hair in them and little spiders all along the window sill. Room smelled bad so we had to go buy air fresheners, entire family was struggling with the odor. Empty Pepsi cans under the couch. No phone to call the front desk when we needed extra toilet paper, only provided one roll for a week stay. What if there was an emergency? Overall not my favorite place and would not stay here again, I would have gotten a refund if I could have. We also had to listen to loud dump trucks sit in idle for over an hour multiple days in a row parked in the alley next to our room both very early in the morning and the afternoon.
