Location is great. Choose this hotel because they state that parking is $47 but it was $65 and if you arrive after 2pm there is $30 surcharge added. the building is older, elevator are extremely slow. Rooms are renovated but still a little musky. But it is a nostalgic old Boston landmark. Used for 1 ngt for back out for a flight next day.Good $$

Would never stay here again. Thermostat fell off the wall when we tried to adjust; called and they sent someone up right away (1point) who pushed it back on the wall and said “ it’s fine”. It wasn’t. AC didn’t work, room was roasting all night. No ramp for our luggage (had multiple suitcases & bags) and had to lug them up steps just to get into and back out of hotel with no help. Elevator (just one) so slow. **again, we had multiple bags and couldn’t always use stairs. Tried to book another night and they want $750. NO WAY!!! Would stay anywhere else but here.

It was clean, safe and in a great location. The elevator was very slow. I am in poor health and was able to walk up to the fifth floor faster than the elevator could come with my daughter. This happened multiple times.

Says it's a 4* hotel, it definitely is not. Lovely old building, but rooms are sparsely furnished with no amenities and look very tired. Expected a coffee machine in the room for a 4* hotel, instead there was a vending machine off reception serving cheap disgusting instant coffee (even the receptionist seemed embarrassed about how bad it was).
