Love it here!!

I have stayed here at the Harborside Inn once before and had such a wonderful experience, I chose to stay here again while visiting friends in town. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful from start to finish. The restaurant lounge 'Joia' was lovely. Awesome, breakfast, service and ambience. However the hotel room lights are somewhat dim even with all the lights turned on. Other than needing more light my overall experience was flawless. The location is absolutely perfect due to so many fun landmarks being within walking distance. Quincy Market, the Aquarium, restaurants, waterfront views, park. I'll be back!

Extremely friendly staff and I always felt safe. The location is very convenient and I was able to walk to TD garden within 8 minutes to see a Celtics game and I also walked to the harbor. There were fantastic restaurants all around within a 10 minute walk.

Quick Family Trip

My family and I stayed at the Harborside for a quick family vacation to watch a Sox and Bruins game. We also visited the Aquarium. The location was perfect and within walking distance to everything we wanted to do except the Sox game, which was a super easy T ride on the green line right from Government Center. The area offers so much and felt safe even walking at night. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and staff were polite and accommodating. No parking on site but the State St garage is only two blocks down and the cost was reasonable. We would not hesitate to stay here again for future trips to Boston.

The main thing we enjoyed about this stay was the location - it definitely checked all of the boxes with location! Otherwise, we were not too impressed. We weren't given the room we had booked (city view window - aka natural daylight), and when we asked to be moved to the room we had paid for, we were told there was nothing that could be done. On top of that, we had a broken air conditioner and broken blinds (with views to the Atrium), so our stay was hot, stuffy, and uncomfortable being exposed to the public eye - and was once again met by "there is nothing we can do". Some of the staff were quite lovely, and some were quite rude and not willing to help. At one point, we went down to the front desk ourselves to request fresh towels (which were right behind them), only to be told the cleaning staff didn't start for another hour, and therefore we would have to wait. So the towels were right behind them and they could have physically handed them over to us, but instead told us they didn't want to have to deliver them themselves - it was very odd! I think if we could be guaranteed the room we paid for, and didn't experience the broken amenities, we might have enjoyed our stay a lot more. So I'm not sure we would ever try this place again - however, the location really is great if you are looking for something conveniently in the North End!

The hotel was nice. But nowadays most hotels have coffeemakers in the rooms. This hotel doesn’t provide one which is very inconvenient. Instead of the Prosecco which was a nice gesture I prefer morning coffee. And it doesn’t offer coffee in the lobby either. For the room rate I was paying some coffee would be appreciated
