Omni Parker House exceeded my expectations. The location is very central and convenient, easy walk to the park, many historical sites and touristic attractions, as well as cafes and restaurants. The room was small, but nice and new, with very comfortable bed. The bathroom was very small, but fresh, clean and modern, excellent shower. Staff was very friendly. Boston Cream Pie worth trying!

The fire alarm went off three times in the middle of the night on accident, construction around the hotel was very loud so basically no sleep. The hotel offered $30 off my $400 nights stay.

So disappointed

I’ve stayed here multiple times pre-pandemic, so was shocked when we arrived for a special 50th bday weekend and the entire hotel was under renovation and we were never notified. The lobby was covered in plastic and torn up. Our room was stripped of everything - it will be the next to be torn apart I’m sure, but it was bare bone. We were put on the 3rd floor, which meant the construction of the ballrooms was underneath us and started at 7am each day. No chance to sleep in or enjoy our morning. On arrival, the toilet had the water turned off, so had to wait for engineering to arrive before we could use it. Again, we paid regular rates of mid-$300’s a night, still was charged the $30/nt hotel fee and had no prior notice of this. Very very disappointed. Very. I’m in the travel industry and our company uses this hotel each season, so just super bummed this happened on my holiday.

Great location

We come to this specific property a few times a year for staycations and to just enjoy the city. They are remodeling the hotel but it still has its old charm. The Last Hurrah bar is always fun and good food and great drinks.

Not a great stay. Check-in was good. Room was small and dated. "Historical" is nice, but it's needs renovated. No fridge or microwave although the cabinet had a big empty space for a fridge. Fire alarm went off at 6 A.M. and had to evacuate. It was a false alarm. Was stuck awake for several hours after the scare. Called for a late checkout and they said they couldn't give anymore, I should have called earlier. If it was just a random call for a late checkout, fine, but if something at your hotel causes a major disruption of your guests stay you should do your best to make it right. You are in the hospitality industry it seems like common sense to me.

The property was under construction, and the lobby was a construction zone. The rooms were extremely dated and falling apart. In addition, they had one of those sneaky resort fees that in the fine print that Congress is trying to outlaw due to deceptive practices. Bottom line, would not stay here again without being comped sth for my past experience. Subpar is generous.
