The Space:

Kenny and Clancy's Camp by Tiny Away is located in Grandchester, just an hour’s drive from Brisbane. Our holiday homes are nestled in peaceful bushland, with walking tracks that come alive after rain as a creek flows through the landscape. Tall, established trees offer plenty of shade, while the gardens continue to grow alongside the natural beauty of the land.



Perfectly positioned for adventure and exploration, we’re just 4 km from Spicers Hidden Vale Adventure Park, 32 km from Queensland Raceway and the Willowbank Country Music Festival, and 15 km from Lake Dyer for swimming and picnics. With the Lockyer Valley on one side and the Scenic Rim on the other, there’s no shortage of adventures nearby.



This 139-square-foot tiny home features a queen-sized bed for two adults, easy access to water, split-system air conditioning, a kitchenette with cooking equipment, and a bathroom. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste tank, a hand basin, and a gas-heated shower.



IMPORTANT NOTE: We have two (2) tiny houses on the property (Clancy's Camp and Kenny's Rest by Tiny Away) giving you even more cozy holiday homes to enjoy. If you’d like to book both for a group stay, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice.



Guest Access:

Guests have access to the tiny home and may use the walking tracks and bushland. Restricted areas include the main house and sheds.

Kenny and Clancy's Camp by Tiny Away is located just an hour’s drive from Brisbane, are gateways to adventure and nature. Explore Spicers Hidden Vale Adventure Park, step back in time at Laidley Pioneer Village, or take in sweeping views from Cunninghams Crest Lookout. Wander through Ipswich Nature Centre, roam Johnstone Dino Park, relax in Queens Park, or enjoy the local vibe at Laidley Recreational Reserve—Grandchester blends history, outdoor thrills, and peaceful green escapes in one charming countryside stop.



Getting Around:

By car:



- From Ipswich its 39 mins, 38 kms and from Plainland its 20 mins, 21 kms. Both reachable by 2WD/4WD



By public transport:



- The train line finishes at Rosewood which is 16 min, 18kms away.

- There is a bus service from Rosewood to Grandchester you would have to check the current times.

- The bus will only take you to Grandchester pub which is 4 kms, 5 mins away.

- Guest can book a uber ride from Rosewood train station or Grandchester Pub.



Other Things to Note:

- Free Tap Water

- Charcoal BBQ grill is available

- No smoking allowed on the property

- No unregistered guests or visitors allowed

- All mobile networks have limited signal in the area

- Firewood is free and available around the property. Please bring your own fire lighters

- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

- The property is home to chickens and a friendly family dog—please let the host know if you’re uncomfortable around dogs.



Guest Advisory

- Please recycle cans and bottles using the bins provided

- Occasionally, RAAF aircraft may fly overhead, though this is infrequent



Important note:



- BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban

- Please be aware of snakes and paper wasps in the area. Wasp spray is provided in the tiny house if needed.

- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests.
