It's a great price and close to the beach. Although if you are working nights and need to sleep during the day, it’s very loud the last two weeks that I’ve been there.

The room that I stayed in smelled terrible, musty and mold smell. Also, there is no way anyone could sleep in the room I had, the freeway noise was loud. I had booked the room for 6 nights but only stayed for four. All of my clothes that were in my suitcase or in the closet came home with me with that horrible stench of the room.

Best Western by I-5

This was a nice hotel, but should be called the Best Western I-5. We could literally throw a rock and hit the freeway. The sound of cars and trucks flying by all night was not soothing. And they gave us 4 throw pillows instead of bed pillows. Who does that? That said, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. Just take pillows and eat plugs.

The location is great and the staff are super nice but that’s about it. Just know they don’t have a shuttle for Legoland. Our hotel room was really old with missing chunks on the walls and furniture and paint peeling everywhere. There was a pretty potent smell in the room, even with leaving the door open to air it out.

I did not like that fact that the toilet clogged and I had to walk to the front office to get a plunger and then return it. The room was loud, the pool was full of algae and couldn't be used. The Jacuzzi was much worse. Won't stay here again.
