We had an excellent time in redondo beach The price was fair. The coffee was great but I was expecting more protein in the breakfast they offered Overall our stay was great

Drains were clogged! Mentioned at the front desk but no repair. Water was 6" deep in tub after shower. Bathroom sink would gurgle when the room above used their water.

No frills hotel close to beach. Not for families

Weather was good and the proximity to the beach for the price was great. The rooms were ok but you can definitely tell this hotel needs some love. It looked clean but floors were pretty gross. Windows didnt close all the way which let in smoke from anyone smoking in the area below. The door had major gaps around the edges and was warped. This was our second room after asking for a transfer from our first room which had a broken window, and the second lock was non-existant. The water was finicky, and would switch at random between scalding hot to cold on a whim. Provided breakfast was meh at best...mostly grab and go or cereal as options.

Plumbing was pitiful

I let the front desk know that our tub was not draining. The manager was super helpful and said he would have maintenance come fix it. They reported to him that they did, when they hadn't. Then in the middle of the night after a bad tummy ache, the toilet won't flush. GREAT! I've seen this is Dumb and Dumber. So I had to take off the back lid and manually flush it. The helpful manager apologized profusely and credited us 50%off that night's fee.
