Do your research. We went off of the pictures advertised as we have never been to California before. We thought we were staying in an old but nice area and rental. The apartment is one apartment from a very busy and loud main road. The 3/4 of businesses and homes have bars on windows. The area is extremely dirty and overrun with homeless people. We saw a woman a block away put a cup down her shorts so she could pee while standing on the sidewalk. We are not use to seeing this and my wife did not feel safe in the area with all the for mentioned.Upon arriving we drove around the block 3 times and finally parked a block away in a grocery store parking lot so we could call and see where to park as an alternative. I was told that the listing says on street parking and it is not their fault we can’t find parking. I simply asked for an alternative area or idea for parking. She said I can’t help you. The building has 3 apartments and two parking spaces. The area is super tight for parking and you have to park in front of other people’s homes down the road. We finally just parked to go look at the apartment. Upon entering it was mediocre. Smelled dingy and musty. My wife and I decided with the area and the apartment we wanted to stay somewhere else. I didn’t expect to get money back for that night as it was already 4 in the afternoon. Booked for 3 nights was hoping to get one night refunded at least but was told we have to stick to policy. Overall terrible experience here.
