Our family really enjoyed our stay here. The property was quiet with beautiful grounds & confortable rooms with quality linens on the beds. The complimentary wine in the early evening was a nice touch as well the complimentary putting greens around the property. We look forward to coming back.

Beautiful grounds. Nice room. Gas fire pits throughout the property at night are a nice touch. S'more kits are available at the front desk. Heated pool was fun for the whole fam. Loved the mini golf that is great for kids and adults.

Always a lovely stay at The Quail. The rooms are spacious and the bed is so comfy! The property is beautiful. We struggled a little with room service, but fortunately, you're close to Carmel by the sea and plenty of restaurants!

Cliff notes: Highly recommend staying here - clean room, friendly staff, fantastic amenities, free s'mores, a nice restaurant, free parking, and a breathtaking location. My stay at The Quail was absolutely incredible, a truly secluded green oasis that exceeded all expectations! Nestled beautifully between the most lush, green mountains, the resort offers a breathtaking escape from the everyday. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The resort itself boasts so many fantastic amenities. We particularly enjoyed their well-equipped stretch, weight, and cardio room, perfect for staying active. The free-to-use steam room was a wonderful bonus for relaxation, and the on-site spa looked incredibly inviting (though we didn't get a chance to indulge this time). Evenings were magical with the free s'mores offered nightly – a delightful touch! The on-site restaurant served truly tasty meals, and the drinks were crafted to perfection. One of the highlights was the availability of electric bikes, which you can rent for free, allowing us to explore the beautiful nearby trail. This was a refreshing change from the Four Seasons where you feel nickel and dimed. The surrounding community is filled with upscale and beautiful homes, adding to the serene atmosphere. While we didn't get to play, they offer free tennis courts. The golf club was pristine and boasting one of the best greens I've ever seen on a golf course.
