The breakfast is ok for the price of the hotel . Staff are very friendly, parking is safe. When we asked to refresh the room after our second night stay, the only thing they did was to change the towel but didn’t vacuum the carpet nor clean the toilet.

The hotel is nice and good for a traveler who needs a night or two's stay in Sunderland. The only weak point is the freakbast, which was very ordinary. A boiled or fried egg will only cost the hotel more than 20p, but it will make the menu a lot more attractive.

The hotel was good and the staff helpful and friendly. It is sited on a retail park away from the centre, with adjacent retail stores. The adjacent building is boarded up and in decay which gives a poor impression. The hotel is clean internally. Outside parking area and the path to retail units is strewn with rubbish, which needs attention by whoever is responsible

We arrived late afternoon and were greeted by a very friendly receptionist, out room was clean, tidy & comfortable, the bathroom was of an adequate size although the shower/bath tap was lacking in pressure. Breakfast was good with choices of cereals, teas/coffees, yoghurt, bread for toast was fresh as were the croissants. The hot breakfast bap with egg, bacon & sausage was very good. During our stay the 5 members of staff (Lisa, Helen, Dianne, Gemma & Dorothy) we came into contact with couldn't have been any more friendly and helpful. You have to pay for car parking (£5.00 per 24 hrs). The only downside, if any, it is on the edge of a small retail park and apart from a Costa & Greggs there is nowhere within walking distance to eat.
