So convenient for going to The Utilita Arena. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room very clean and bed very comfortable.

No changing facilities when your room is unavailable- had to change in the toilets with other ladies - its not the best place to be attaching false eyelashes.

The hotel itself was good, clean and adequate facilities. However, this should not be promoted as family friendly and I strongly suggest if you have children, you don't stay at this hotel with them. I'm from the area, so I appreciate Newcastle is a party city. But when visiting with a one year old, on the basis this hotel is "family friendly", to then be allocated a room boxed in between hoards of lads who are off their faces (seen with my own eyes as they had their door propped open) and trying to get into our room - at 8pm before they've even gone out - is not what I'd consider appropriate, and definitely not family friendly. I dread to think of what would've gone on after the pubs and clubs had shut and they piled back. Can't fault the staff, they were wonderful, but we had to leave and stay elsewhere. Not an experience I'd wish to repeat, or want anyone else to suffer.
