The Maingate Lakeside Resort should not even be called a resort at all. The overall quality of the place was horrible and flithy, as there were run down and broken items everywhere in sight. The room we stayed in was absolutely horrendous and filthy. The bathroom was disgusting and the floor was literally tilting down. The pool wasn't clean, and the hot tub was out of order. Also, for some reason, they wouldn't use keycards as they were out of order. Not a good place to stay at. Do not reccommend this to anyone at all.

I will never stay here again, this is the worse Motel NOT a Resort they should be ashamed to use that word. It looks like a place that was abandoned for years and now trying to reopen. The rooms look like they were all broken into at some point, smell like moldy cigarettes, hard to breathe in them. I felt like I would get robbed just trying to get to the room at night. Some rooms doors on first floor were open at night and had damaged locks, don’t stay here if you want to enjoy your vacation, stayed here for two days and never left my belongings alone in the room, they make you sign a waiver too because they don’t want to be responsible for your stuff.

Rooms smell like sewage, the locks on the door are broken , cracks in ceiling and drywall , roaches and spiders are common , the only good thing was the AC blew cold . Reminded me of the hotel room in Scarface when they killed the drug runner in the tub with a chainsaw .

Espere 30 minutos para poder hacer el chek in despues. De. Haber pagado. Los. $88.25 todavia me. Cobraron.$ 27 dolares adicionales me dieron la habotacion y la puesrta estaba forzada y no tenia cerradura no entiendo por que no supervisan eso. Me toco ir de nuevo a la. Oficina para que me. Cambiarán de. Cuarto lleando al otro. Cuarto el aire no funciono estaba tan. Cansada que en ese. Momento ya no quise de nuevo ir a la ofincina y asi tube que dormir fue super incomodo ya que no habia aire 😡trataba de biscar un hotel economico pero. Fue peor $115 en total. Pague con esa cantidad que no sabia que iba a pagar me hubiera biscado algo mejor por ese. Precio. Estoy muy molesta.

The room was musty but fine. The card system was down when we checked in, so we didn't have room cards. There was a little bit of noise from the neighbors. The chair in the room was wobbly. It could use some love
