Old and run down

Do not stay here. The hotel is old and run down. Don't be fooled by the lobby. It used to be a nice hotel, but no longer. Also, the front desk person was no where to be found when I arrived for check in. I had to wait 30 minutes until she was located.

E enjoyed our stay overall. The room was clean although a bit dated but not too bad. The restaurant was completely over priced. Good but overpriced and drinks expensive as well. It was a snow storm so no other option. Lots of good restaurants near by. Our server Joan was THE BEST. Several guests smelled of weed. The elevator smelled of weed that was nasty to us it really derailed the experience. We had hopped to use the policy but they had like 3 children's parties happening and that was going to gain it was crazy. You can tell the hotel has seen better years. I used to shoot weddings there and it has declined. Over all 3 stars for a clean comfortable room. They used the old fashioned motel style bar soaps too.

We had a winter storm when we checked in that day. Two adults and two little ones yet the front desk lady told us we cant do an early check in because none of the rooms were available as they were busy the night before. Just like any other hotels, check out is at 11am. It was past 3pm when we got there, and not a single room is available. We were the only ones at the front desk and were told to wait. Shortly after, a lady walked in and was able to check in. I was staring at the front desk section while waiting at the lounge area when the front desk lady called my attention to accommodate us. Next day, we found out that the hotel doesnt offer FREE BREAKFAST but on expedia, it clearly says breakfast included. I politely asked the woman in charge to double check and she let us through when she confirmed that breakfast is included in our stays. Im not really impressed with the selection of food, danish and cookies and breads are not freshly served . Id say a couple of days old as they are hard as a rock. My kids didnt even bother to eat them. If youre booking thru expedia, beware of hidden charges. Im not sure of the additional charges they billed me. On expedia, it says $134 per night which i paid when i checked in. Cleanliness: id say this hotel is comparable to comfort inn suites. Disgusting. Dont want to even walk on their carpets with my barefeet

I love the entrance of hotel The receptionist from the night shift went above and beyond with hospitality as well the morning shift. The Breakfast was fabulous. The kitchen aides was so welcoming and the chef as well The bartender was very very pleasant Greeting everyone with a smile and Great eye contact. I would not stay here again.

The staff were incredibly friendly and very pleasant and polite. I did notice there was smoke in the air one night by the hotel lobby. I pointed this out and the staff dismissed it, saying it was just the humidifier? Later that night, around 12:30am the smoke alarm went off. TWICE! I stood outside in 25 degree weather for 30 min. Then the alarm went off again! I got zero sleep. Never found out why alarm went off during middle of night.The pool was not heated like it said when I booked. I needed the pool for my grandkids. The workout room was disastrous. Only some hand weights, many missing, a broken bike or something and a little machine. Extremely disappointed in that too. Working out is extremely important to me. I booked for the heated indoor pool and workout room. Extremely disappointed in that. My key did not work for pool either.
