This property was nice however the smell from the beach was really foul. I wanted to enjoy the beach and we couldn’t do that because of the smell. Staff was really friendly some of the kids pools could have used a little maintenance there chips and chunks missing on the floor of the pool the restaurants were nice and food and drinks were okay

My family's (2 adults, 3 kids) and total group's (4 adults, 6 kids) was very positive at Serenade Punta Cana Beach & Spa Resort. The property was in great shape where it mattered to us, but it could use a little maintenance (i.e. entertainment room screen, some buildings needed a little love, missing tiles at the swim up bar). None of the needed maintenance was a turn off for our experience; the pools were in great shape and clean, the beaches were clean and accommodations (i.e. chairs, "umbrellas", common spaces like bars, lobby, room furnishings, and restaurants) were all as expected or better. The time of year we went (late July early August) there was a lot of seaweed in the ocean but that was expected (just info not a mark against Serenade). There was still a sandbar that was free of seaweed to play in the ocean and the crews worked around the clock to clean up the seaweed that washed up on the beach. Seaweed did not bother us but it was present. The staff was great and responded extremely well to tipping. Leaving a couple bucks for the minifridge stocker and house keeping went a long way. The bar and restaurant staff were attentive too; tipping went a long way here also (although it was not required to get decent service). The resort was very kid friendly and the pre-teens in our group loved getting mocktails and the freedom of grabbing a bite to eat at the beach food stand. We ate at the hibachi restaurant and the steak house twice; both were amazing.

Hotel needs attention. No ac in the buffet and restaurants. Dirty dishes, lack of food variety. Worst towels I have seen in a hotel. Lack of personal. Some workers were nice and others even don’t say hello. Bad experience overall.

I loved the place, the beds were very comfortable and clean, the staff was amazing and very polite and helpful.. the only thing is the restaurants with no AC they told us that it damaged a month ago and eating without AC is the more uncomfortable thing. We as costumers we are paying for a good and comfortable place. And poor staff from the restaurants having to work with all that heat.

The smell was unique. It was smelly around the property and we didn’t spend any time at the beach because of it. They ran out of towels. The service was pretty bad, slow and with attitude. Drinks are most def watered down. They never refilled the room with enough bottled water, we had to ration. The shower was see through so if you’re not with a partner, that’s not great. Stuff in our room was broken like door handles. AC didn’t work anywhere but the club and the rooms. Etc etc etc. It was fine because we made the most of it! But I wouldn’t stay here again.

Hay mucho mal olor, moscas, es algo insoportable por todo el hotel. No tienen aire acondicionado en ningún lugar, por suerte en la habitación funcionaba perfecto, es horrible el calor en restaurants, teatro, lobby, discoteca. Algunos trabajadores fueron super amables pero otros muy desagradables, te miraban mal, no saludaban, hacían q no te veían para no atenderte. Las toallas era duras, no olian a limpio. La instalación en general está muy descuidada y deteriorada. La pasamos bien gracias a muy pocas personas q allí trabajan y a q invitamos a familia de Cuba, pero es un hotel q jamás repetiría, lo lamento por aquellos q hacen las cosas como se debe pero sinceramente no lo recomiendo ni repito.

Es una pena que siendo un hotel relativamente nuevo tenga algunas de sus áreas en mal estado. No puedo generalizar a todo el personal porque algunos cumplen con sus obligaciones pero otros no demuestran mucho interés e incluso en ocasiones lo demuestran con mala expresión principalmente en el área del buffet, por otra parte las toallas están empercudidas principalmente la de las habitaciones el agua de beber del restaurante principalmente el buffet era caliente y no tenían hielo para ofrecer y además que los aires acondicionados no estaban funcionando y había un calor extremo, si tengo que aclarar que estuve en la habitación 3203 y la houskeeping que me asignaron era muy detallista y todos los días organizaba muy bien mi habitación y me dejaba una decoración con toallas y flores en mi cama, muchas gracias por su atención y servicio

Though I enjoyed my stay because I was with friends and loved ones, I have to say the overall experience was disappointing. The dining options were extremely limited — unless you were willing to tip (or bribe) your way to better service or food. You weren’t even allowed to take food out of the restaurant unless you wrapped it up in a napkin, which felt pretty ridiculous. The staff was generally unaccommodating and uninterested in helping unless there was money involved. I usually tip toward the end of our pool time, but here, it felt like they only paid attention if you were already flashing cash. As for the activities… or really, the lack of them — it was the same repetitive stuff every single day. The “foam party” they hyped up was thrown together and just sad. Overall, it felt like things were done halfway, and the energy from the staff just wasn’t there. Wouldn’t return — there are better places out there for the same price or less.

Everything is very beautiful, clean, quiet, and has a good atmosphere. The only thing is that the restaurants are a disaster with the food. They even charge you extra for some things (if there is one, because sometimes there isn't). The only place you have a lot of variety and the staff are very attentive is at the buffet. You have to work hard to make a reservation for a restaurant, but everything else is spectacular. I liked it, but for my next trip, I'll choose another one.

You sale this as an adult all inclusive with option for family side. I thought, according to your advertisement that we would be an adult side. Surprise to me as we arrive that it was the family side and if i wanted to be moved it would be $250 per person per night. They actually offered us a tour of the adult side and i found that offensive since i already got scammed and now the hotel wants to scam me also? Then the "all inclusive" resort wasn't all inclusive. Free wifi only works in the lobby. Me and my wife had a room with 2 beds. I aske the man at the counter why would i want 2 beds. This experience was horrible and a waste of money! It was 10 of us and the experience was the same. And quite a few people had the same experience after purchasing through this site. This was horrible and will never do business with this companies again and will never recommend it.

The rooms size are very good, the housekeeping are good. I gave this resort 3 stars because There is no AC across the resort, the only AC is in the rooms or in the gym. The open buffet has very limited glass cups , you have to wait lining up till the staff takes the dirty cups , clean it then bring it back to the juice station to drink any juice . The Staff at the a La cart restaurants are not friendly and the quality of food is not good.
