I love staying at the Pali hotels. My room was extraordinary, big and very clean. The staff was very friendly when I checked in and helped me get accommodated. You are very close to Union square and lots of shopping nearby. By gray parking across the street or around the block

Palihotel is a great brand of hotels and this location doesn’t disappoint. Iconic Union Square is a block away and Chinatown is on the other side of Stockton tunnel. Our only feedback/wish is that the windows would be insulated for sound. The city is very noisy until the wee hours but the hotel does have earplugs in the room. Overall we enjoyed the stay.

Clean, spacious rooms. Very aesthetic decorations, cute lobby. Really neat old style elevator. Walking distance to a lot of sights, very close to the Chinatown Dragon gate. Honestly, I think this is my favorite hotel in San Francisco and I have stayed at at least a dozen. But I love French style and character and can understand how it is not for everyone. Technically the shower floor was very slippery and the sink was very small, so I would not recommend for elderly.
