The room was the front desk man was charming and helpful when we did not have a coffee maker in our room someone brought it within 10 minutes The only odd thing is there was no telephone in the room and they said they had to put a work order in for it and it would take a while but we used our cell phones

The staff at the hotel was very nice & welcoming, this is my second time at this hotel. The breakfast was good. But although I got there early, I couldn't get eggs (they run out of them early and didn't cook more) I'd stay in this place again in my next visit to San Jose.

The toilet wasn’t working in the first room we got we had to switch over to a room at almost 12 AM at night. The second room had cockroaches. There were two cockroaches in the kitchen and two in the bedroom. The hotel needs better maintenance.

My biggest gross out was the roach problem. We stayed 3 days. Everyday we saw small roaches. Older rooms, dated. Patchy fixes like door handles don’t bother me as much as the homeless people living around the hotel property and parking lot. I also paid for my cousins room as he was visiting from overseas. I was kinda embarrassed we chose this hotel. Staff was super friendly tho, I don’t blame them. They were extremely helpful and attentive. they can’t control all these hotel problems. That’s a management issue.
