Nice and comfortable

This hotel was in a fantastic location and as well kept and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would return to this hotel Again.

Great hotel in a great location not too far from all the sites but still far away enough not to get any of the street noise. Very friendly and helpful staff to help with any questions we had.

Week-long stay in the heart of Amsterdam

I stayed here for 7 nights in mid-February. I had a basic, but more than adequate single room. It had a very comfortable bed, a small TV with some English channels (BBC1/2), a desk and chair, bedside table and a wardrobe. The room was nice and warm and had thick blackout curtains. As a Brit, I was delighted that the room was equipped with a kettle, tea and coffee. The bathroom was compact with a nice hot and powerful shower and as many fluffy white towels as you need. Basic toiletries are provided. Breakfast was plentiful and varied enough. A variety of sliced breads and rolls are offered, all of which are lovely and fresh, as well as croissants, small muffins, cereals, yoghurts and fruit salad. There was also scrambled and boiled eggs with either sausages or bacon. The coffee is good and hot and just what you need to get you going on a morning. All members of staff were polite, attentive and a pleasure to deal with. Leaving your case before or after you arrive or leave is not a problem. The location is ideal for people wanting to explore the city either by public transport, bike or on foot. There are many tram lines a couple of minutes' walk from the hotel. 1,2,5,7,10,3,12 are the ones, I think. There are also many buses that pass nearby, including a direct bus to the airport every ten minutes.

Couples winter break

The hotel is in a perfect location to explore Amsterdam... Very close to all the shops and bars and only a 20 minute walk to the central station, Anne frank, the dungeon, Madame Tussaud's and the red light district. We got free wifi and free use of the safe whilst there. The rooms are clean and ours was spacious, although I think we got one of the bigger ones. Only downside is we got twin beds rather than a double but it was fine. during the day you can hear a lot of planes as you're close to the airport but nothing at night. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on the food.
