Nice enough hotel but there was a cockroach in my bathroom, which is just not acceptable in a 4 star hotel in a major city like Barcelona. The staff were very casual when I reported it and even suggested I had left a window open (I hadn't and the bathroom is at the opposite end of the room from the windows). I also thought it was a bit cheeky to be told I wasn't charged for a mere 1 hour late checkout because of the cockroach. It really tainted the stay as I was constantly checking the room for more cockroaches. One disappointment with the suite itself is that the sitting room was tiny with only a chair for one. Not really worth it. The room was otherwise comfortable and on the plus side the hot tub and shower with bodyjets were awesome. Breakfast was really good as was the restaurant.

The spa was a perfect antidote for throbbing feet and aching body after a day of walking. The staff was beyond kind and helpful. We had our best meals in the restaurants around the hotel. Public transportation is easily accessible and main attractions are walkable. Highly recommend this hotel. Thank you for a glorious stay!

Spent 2 nights, only one small grocery store and a couple of restaurants! Sink in our bathroom finally got fixed the night before we left, ants in room and they never did lock the door to our balcony which was accessible from the hallway. Girls at front desk unfriendly as well as not helpful! Lovely hotel though, fabulous breakfast and going to be a brilliant beachfront when completed.

I don’t normally give reviews. Don’t book this hotel. This hotel is not 4 stars. Very expensive. We stayed for 2 nights. Our room had 2 uncomfortable noisy creaking twin beds with no facial tissues or napkins to use. Design of bathroom is poor. Bathroom is large but very empty with poor small shower tub. Very Limited clothing and toiletries for a 4-star hotel. No amenities at all. Not worth it.

We stay there often. Best location, everything close by. All of the staff are wonderful friendly and professional. Make us feel at home. Construction right next door at the moment, started jack hammering at 800am, sometimes 730am. Automatic alarm clock and mo chance for naps.

Chose the hotel for the great area; was left disappointed by the poor AC, the showerhead that dripped all night, and thin walls. We had to leave the window open all night to make the room bearable but the noise kept us up.

Montse at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. Super sweet and friendly. Triple room was large and comfortable. Solid door on the bath would make it more comfortable but us 3 women were fine. The handle on the shower came off when i turned it to get hot water. Very touchy. But figured it out and the good far outweighed the bad.

Outstanding accommodation

This is perhaps the best hotel we have ever stayed. Spacious clean quiet room with super comfy bed. A bookable and free spa, sauna, steam room in the basement. Excellent bar and discounted dining, huge and varied complimentary breakfast. Centrally located and walkable to all attractions or hoho bus. Friendly and informative staff with special mention of Mirela who helped us with a smile on many occasions.
