Lovely stay

Couldn’t fault anything, rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing everything was cooked perfectly. We visited the spa and it was so relaxing.

Hotel was great for one night, however there was alot of noise till early hours with boy racers presumably at MerryHill shopping centre. But otherwise pleaseant stay. Food in the bar was excellent.

We had room 127. Certain handicap requirements were missing from this specialist room. The toilet only had one support rail, needed a rail next to the toilet level with the pull down support rail. The shower area had a support rail affixed diagonally on the left of the shower which wouldn't help anyone. There was no support rail on the right of the shower.

The hotel is a little old and tired. Rooms are spacious but all the equipment including shower are out of date compared to hotels of a similar price break. The cost of parking should be advertised not that is expensive but it is an extra cost. Food choice is excellent and high quality and well priced. Staff are very friendly. Clean and modern hotel. Ideally situated on Dudley canal. Brierley civic hall 10mins walk. Wetherspoons just across the canal bridge.

Great staff, shame about the hotel.

Very tired looking hotel, over priced. But staff were great. Parking is an extra charge (as if I walked there). Rooms old, beds uncomfortable. On my stay I was moved and upgraded because the power didn't work in my room. First room there was a random spoon in the sink (no big deal) but second room the sink wouldnt drain. There's no AC and the room was hot, the portable unit provided was ineffective. In summary, better value can be found elsewhere where.
