The bedrooms were in a clean condition & comfortable. The only criticism is even though there was free WiFi it took awhile to gain the internet. The TV reception was awful the screen kept breaking up when watching a programme.

Character hotel overlooking Severn estuary

Beautiful old character hotel. Big windows looking straight out to Severn estuary. Good friendly service. Good menu for dinner and excellent buffet breakfast. Lots to do within walking distance- including coastal walks and pubs.

Check the weather!!!

I have been too many hotels, and this is by far one of the disappointing stays I have ever had. The setting of the hotel is beautiful overlooking the water. The first room had water running down the bathroom wall. The second room had no heating and a large crack in the ceiling. The third room had water dripping down from the ceiling. As it was 11 o'clock at night, I decided to place the dust bin with a towel under the drip. Upon check out, I spoke to the Duty manager and he said this comes with a Victorian hotel and said I hope the view and the last room was good!

Room with a view.

For the price, you can not go wrong. The staff were nice, food was good had lunch there on arrival & dinner, had breakfast on the last day. We had a room with a view of the sea. The room was nice size & bathroom was a good size to with a very nice shower. There was parking at the hotel as well.

Beautiful rooms with a view!

We loved this hotel. Overlooking the water and at the end of the street, this was a perfect location. Hotel wait staff was tremendous as well as the front desk. Parking was convenient too.
