I called the day before check in, was told I could get adjoining rooms. Get to hotel the next day for check in at 1:15 a.m.-late arrival only to find the General Manager gave my adjoining room away! I had a 1 year old we needed this room for so grandparent could watch child while parents diner and and child was asleep. Nice job, Hampton Inn. VERY DISAPPOINTED!! Never again!!

We had a delayed flight and arrived late. We called to let the front desk know. We found the room clean but the shower was stuck on the jet setting which was too harsh for my skin. The body wash was empty , and when my husband went down to get more, the front desk attendant told him there was not any more. He was given a bar a soap. There were no tissues either. I guess Chicago Midway area was out of several hotel items. Breakfast was a disappointment as well. I’m not a hotel breakfast fan, but I like fresh fruit. At 8:00 the fruit had not been replenished. Slim pickings all around for a breakfast that went until 10:00AM. I’m a Hilton member so I like to stay at Hamptons and Garden Inns, but this was a bad experience.

If you need somewhere to stay for a few nights with a great location near midway airport and a ton of stores/restaurants. They do charge for parking so if you are driving make sure to factor that in.

Generally a great stay

I stayed here for 6 nights with the hubby and 2 kids. We had very comfortable beds and a wonderfully clean room, which are always top priorities. It was great to have a TV with cable channels and access to Netflix and Disney+ using my own accounts, perfect for unwinding after a day out. The staff was, for the most part, quite welcoming, making for a pleasant atmosphere. Breakfast was decent, providing a good start to the day, and I appreciated the 24/7 coffee and tea availability, though the large insulated canisters sometimes meant the beverages weren't piping hot. The hotel's location was a definite plus, with plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. However, there were a few drawbacks. The air conditioning unit was a bit noisy, and unfortunately, we had a leaky toilet in our room. The most significant issue, though, was the steep $30 per day parking fee, which felt excessive. Overall I still think it was a pleasant stay and will likely visit again.
