The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was nice and spacious and well appointed. Breakfast was a good selection of eggs, sausage and potatoes, oatmeal, cereals, waffles, bread, pastries, yogurt, etc. The only negative thing is that the pool seemed cold. I went down to go for a swim and it was so cold that I didn’t go in which was disappointing. The front desk said it should be heated, but I’m not sure the temperature was right. By comparison, on my way home, I stayed at the Hampton Inn International Chicago O’Hare and the pool was lovely, perfect temperature.

Great location for our needs--outside of Chicago but easy to jump on interstate to travel into city. Lower hotel prices than Chicago. Appreciated free breakfast, clean room, dark shades for window, and thermostat in room.

I didn’t like that they charged a $24 per night parking fee and I just thought that was outrageous when you pay $150 for a night for a room and they have a parking lot, it’s not like the hotel was in a downtown district where parking was limited. Then when we questioned the front desk about it they were rude with the response. Breakfast was wonderful. Served from 5:00am-10:00am Servers Kept it filled. But be sure to go before 9:45 because at least 3-4 of the servers are hovering over you as you get your breakfast items to hurrying you along so they can shut it down right at 10:00 and I understand that it ends at 10:00 but if someone is there before 10:00 and gathering their plate and making their oatmeal and hot waffle, just let them finish in peace. Close the doors to the breakfast area and let the person quickly finish. I was rushed and I kept dropping my sugar packets and my napkins and spilling my hot tea and it was kinda stressful. Overall it was a nice hotel. Very clean. Very stylish. Felt safe there.

When I arrived the suite I had reserved and prepaid for over a week in advance was not available, I was told the hotel was overbooked. I had reserved this suite due to it being larger and having a fridge and microwave. Instead, I was given a much smaller room without a fridge and microwave. The room I was given also had a really strong smell. It was unbearable to be in the room, so I had to go back downstairs again to request a different room. I did not enjoy my stay, and I am not planning to return to this property.
