This is our favorite hotel in Laguna. The setup for kids is perfect. Beach, pool, hot tub, and amazing beach amenities all setup for hotel guests. They have boogie boards to lend and lots of sand toys/sand games. It’s easy to get to, great little bar areas, and valet parking is $$ but easy and nice since most everything is walkable!

Hottest Hot Tub around, and big enough to not feel crowded. If Location is it, then Pacific Edge is the place. Only complaints would be that they need more ice machines. And of course, they want you to stay there but then gouge you by charging you to park there.

Decent but not what they show you in the photos.

The service was genuinely good—everyone we encountered, from the front desk to the valet, was kind, helpful, and welcoming. The room was comfortable, and the view of the beach at sunset was absolutely beautiful. That said, we were very surprised by how different the property felt compared to the polished, stylish photos on Hotels.com. For the price point, the actual condition of the hotel didn’t quite live up to those expectations. There’s noticeable wear and tear throughout—from the elevators to the hallways and pool area—which gives the place a tired feel. Mostly some of the dingy alleyways you have to cross to get from the lobby to the rooms. This place definitely needs some fresh paint and a bit of loving. Some attention to detail would go a long way in elevating the experience to do justice to what they show you in the photos.

The staff was so amenable to our needs. When I registered online, I told them that my wife and I have a difficult time walking and that we would be most comforatable with as little walking as possible. I was told not to worry, and that we would be accomodated. When we arrived, I was surprised to get the room only 4 steps from the office. But, what really helped us was the offer to keep our car next to the room in the handicapped space for our entire stay. That meant that we wouldn't have to walk down to the valet area. We were both so impressed with the service.
