The people!

Was in Mazatlan for the holidays. Stayed with friend for 8 days and then four nights at the hotel. The people were fantastic. The reservation staff was very helpful, restaurant and front lobby to those cleaning etc. really appreciate the friendly and efficient of everyone.

I did not like the complete lack of any type furniture with drawers. This means all clothing must be left on top of the marble table tops, out in the open. I also got tired of going down stairs each night to ask for ice. The most scary thing is the shower floor. as soon as it gets wet your feet slide all over the place. Also the shower is always cold never warm.

Great Value for a Comfortable Stay

This hotel is on the Melecon. The hotel and pool area are kept super clean and are in good condition. We also appreciated that the hot tube water temperature was actually warm. This is rare in mexico..The staff were all wonderful and a special thank you to Marcos the manager. The negatives were: a little noisy on the Malecon, only two people in hotel spoke english and the internet needs updating. The internet speed was good but it dropped out often requiring resign in. I would also like to recommend to management that they add drawers for clothes storage. Overall though because of the great staff and up keep of hotel we rated this highly. For the price this hotel is great value.

This hotels age shows very much. Extremely noisy, single pane glass doesn’t help mute street noise, the doors don’t seal well. I was on the 5th floor and the elevator would remain stuck on my floor with the elevator door screeching open and shut but not move. Hotel staff was non-existent to correcingthis at 3am. This is not a restful hotel. I left Mazatlan more exhausted than when I arrived.
