I recently stayed at this hotel as a solo female traveler, and unfortunately, it was not the most comfortable experience. Let’s start with the positives: the check-in was great. The front desk lady was super sweet, and she made me feel welcome from the start. However, once I got to my room on the fourth floor, things took a turn. My window faced directly onto a building with a walkway right outside, which made me feel really uneasy and unsafe. To make matters worse, I discovered that one of the windows had actually been left unlocked and slightly open. This really didn’t help with my sense of security. Cleanliness was another issue: the towels had stains on them, and the tissue box had used tissues left in it. It was just not a pleasant or clean environment. On top of that, I couldn’t sleep at all because there were constant tapping and banging noises throughout the night. The lights in the room were on some sort of auto-timer that kept turning off even when I wanted them on, and the temperature control was a nightmare. I set it to cool, but it switched to heat in the middle of the night, leaving me sweating and uncomfortable for hours. The one real bright spot was the bar and a bartender named Otto. He was incredibly kind and attentive, even helped me charge my phone before I went out. So kudos to him for some excellent service. In conclusion, while the staff had a couple of standout individuals, the overall stay felt unsafe and uncomfortable. Hence, the two-star rating.

The rooms were very nice, sleek, and well designed. We especially enjoyed the restroom. Staff was helpful and friendly. The location is so convenient with tons to do right at your doorstep. My only issue is that this hotel included “free breakfast” on the app but that was not the case when we arrived. I have small children so I always tend to book a hotel based on the “free breakfast.” It’s a huge selling point for me and normally a deal breaker when in comes to booking. I was really disappointed with the false advertising.

Very average hotel. Electricity in my room went out all night - got no sleep. Kept calling the front desk. Did nothing about it. Next day I talked to housekeeping and to the morning front desk. They were all confused by why my electricity went out. Sent up a maintenance guy - he immediately told me that all but two of the outlets in my room are on timers/motion control - so whatever is plugged in to those outlets will shut off every 15 minutes - my sound machine was one of those things that kept shutting off. 1.) I’ve never heard of such a thing in a hotel. 2.) how did nobody in the hotel know about this until the next morning when the electrician told me? 3.) why did I get no discount on that first night? There’s also really no security in the hotel. Anybody can go onto the elevator and up to the floors. Case in point - there was a woman curled up in a ball in the corner of one of the elevators lying on the floor - and she was not staying in the hotel - so I had to go get the bellman to let him know about it.
