Hardwick Hall Hotel
"Located in beautiful grounds, very quiet at night with no road noise for a great nights sleep. The room I was in was very spacious with a huge comfortable bed and pillows. Evening meal in the bar was also great, a cut above the big chain hotels, with friendly service from the bar team. Breakfast however, was not so great. The fresh coffee was great, but the orange juice Was more buffet than freshly squeezed. Cereal options was limited, no granola or other high quality cereal on offer. I made a mistake with eggs Mexicana, I was expecting in the same as hotel Du Vin do, freshly smashed avocado. Unfortunately, this was cheap puree out of a bottle which a horrible vinegar presence. To be fair, the full English looked great though. I did not have time to complain directly to the team as I was running late. But they will know now. They do have 4 EV chargers which is great, albeit they charge slow. Still really useful and comparably cheap."
