Don't bother with a city view corner room if the floor is not high enough, otherwise all you can see is the station and water. That's not a bad thing but just don't expect a view of the city. The room type needs renaming. I was on the 4th floor. The record player was a nice idea but most records in the rack are only sleeves without the actual vinyl. The record player belt was warped and so didn't play consistently. Check in takes too long and overall the stay was underwhelming.

Hotel was nice but pricey. We were very disappointed to find out that the other aspects of the venue all cost extra, like the roof access, and that guests weren’t prioritized for spots or even told we’d need reservations etc., upon check in. Also we were charged for a breakfast even though it was included and have still not received the credit back. Some of the staff was also not very friendly. Location is great for getting on the ferry however, but that was th main draw. The rooms were hot and the windows don’t open so there is no ventilation. Our lights also flicked when turned all the way up. Restaurant downstairs is ok but would recommend eating somewhere else. Also get instructions on getting back into the hotel at night, it wasn’t explained to is that the doors would lock and we’d have to ring a bell at a specific door.

Really nice hotel. Lovely staff, food good, decent night's sleep & excellent shower. Great location if you want access to centraal station. Beware using the side entrance to the hotel. This is the same entrance to a number of other venues in the building and it can get a bit lary with revellers. Make sure any taxis etc drop you off at the main entrance to the hotel itself.

The Funkiest Hotel in Amsterdam!

Funky and fun music themed Hotel. Easy access between Sir Adam’s and Amsterdam Central via the free ferry. Disco and Elevator Karaoke were fun. Food shops nearby. Great bar atmosphere downstairs. Record player in the room was a bit cool too
